It has been a dry Spring to date

It has been a dry Spring to date, which at least helps when hoeing the weed seedlings and is always a job worth repeating every week at this time of year. Watch out for our new Dutch hoe coming out soon. We will also have a dibber which I found really useful for planting out the pea plugs.

With the dry Spring it is good to see the crowfoot covering the upper reaches of the River Kennet gently holding back the flow and providing a habitat for insects and the newly hatched ducklings.
