How Thrive helps
Over 40 years’ experience of an approach called social and therapeutic horticulture (STH), where trained horticultural therapists work with plants and people to improve an individual’s physical and psychological health, communication and thinking skills
Courses and training
A variety of training and education opportunities - ranging from introductory workshops to extended learning. Our programme is delivered from a number of venues across England - Reading, London, Bristol and Birmingham, as well as online.

“When we knew the UK was going into lockdown, we wanted to do something to help people keep well during periods of isolation. We created the ‘Gardening Club’ emails and website guides to encourage people to start or do more gardening (indoors or out) This is still going strong 6 months on and if you’re looking for some tips and inspiration to garden yourself or know someone who may benefit from this, then it’s not too late to sign up! “
