The perfect gardening tool, the ideal personalised gardening present.

This is the original spade I modelled on the one my Grandfather passed down to my Father who had a Market Garden in Jersey. I finally broke the handle which was by then riddled with woodworm.

It’s a chunky spade not for the faint hearted. Great for slicing old congested herbaceous plants and tackling difficult ground. The “D” handle helps you strike the ground. The blade is not as long as some larger spades and is designed to help break the soil or dig. Not to be used as a shovel. Fairly heavy with strong D handle and carbonised steel.

All My Garden Spade products are made to last and built to the highest specification. You can leave them in the garden, but why would you?

They should become your friends, they slot into your hands and are nice to hold. They are not intended to be used as hammers, mallets or for making cement. This will shorten their life and blunt the blades.

Simply wash off any earth from the blade and once in a while, apply with a cloth some teak oil to the wooden handle. Over time the handle will smooth even further with age. The paint will eventually wear away, this is normal and is only there for cosmetic effect.

Subject to stock availability we aim to dispatch your product within 2 working days.  We use DPD Local Next Day delivery (signature required) and aim for delivery before close of business the following working day. 

Engraved products are made to order with a lead time of approximately three weeks.

We do not deliver to Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scilly Islands and the Scottish Highlands

Returns

It is our aim to offer products that represent good value for money and we want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase from My Garden Spade.

If you are not completely happy with your purchase, for any reason, and notify us within 14 days of delivery, we will either exchange or offer a complete refund, providing the item has not been used and is returned in the original packaging in a saleable condition. Please make sure you check your items carefully on receipt as they cannot be returned for a refund once they have been used.  Personalised tools cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty.
